I would rely primarily on fellow Ukraine filers for that advice.

In some countries (Ecuador for one) they require both members of the couple to be there

(maybe because of a high incidence of immigration fraud). In Thailand, the petitioner

can give their passport to the beneficiary to show the CO when he/she goes for the interview,

but the petitioner's presence is not required at that time. Many do it just for emotional support.

Most commonly you will have to wait outside the consulate. That may be to prevent last-minute

"coaching" while the beneficiary is waiting to be called.

It's best to look to the Ukraine crowd for a consensus on that topic, specifically the consulate

reviews.

No, it is not necessary. I highly recommend it if you can. Kiev will allow you to attend the interview, even go right up to the interview window with her (if there is something they do not want you to hear or be present for they will ask you to leave and go sit in the waiting room like 5 ft. away)

Question about consular interview - moving to Embassy and Consulate Discussion...

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
