it's not socialism either way and it's certainly not communism.

At least someone is intelligent....

They are very similar. Read the definitions of the two forms of government. You guys like to play the "i'm smart, you're dumb" card on everything, but it just doesnt work for you.

Hmmm I wonder what the brown shirts were called in Germany? Anyone recall?

Tis not a form of government, tis economical ideologies akin to capital and mercantilism.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Commie scum, all of you.

Yes..of course..and oh, Marxism and Communism are also the same ideologies...don't ya know?

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

As is liberalism and Socialism.

Hey at least in that world, things are simpler you know.

May I borrow some glue, or some scotch tape? This magnetic bumper sticker refuses to stick to my car's plastic bumper.

Epoxy fine?

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Read the definitions?

Socialismo!

Socialism refers to various theories of economic organization advocating state, public or direct worker ownership and administration of the means of production and allocation of resources, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with an egalitarian method of compensation. Contrary to popular belief, socialism is not a political system; it is an economic system distinct from capitalism.

Communismo!

The term "Communism"... is often used to refer to a form of government in which the state operates under a one-party system and declares allegiance to Marxism-Leninism or a derivative thereof, even if the party does not actually claim that the society has already reached communism.

Looks, I can readz!

I guess the I'm smart, you're dumb card DOES work for me :D

It does when you clearly don't understand the differences, or how way off being anything to do with socialism the policies of the Democrats are.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I have never understood the infatuation people have for bumper stickers, in fact I can't think of a single one I would wish to stick onto my vehicle.

I had one back in the 1970's that said "America: Love it or Give it Back". I still remember it fondly

I have never understood the infatuation people have for bumper stickers, in fact I can't think of a single one I would wish to stick onto my vehicle.

Someone had some pretty clever ones at a Tea-Party event but they were like 6 or 8 bucks......a little too high for me.

I'm participating in a Tea Party event this weekend

I just noticed your quote at the bottom. ITs not from Gerald Ford. I think its from Thomas Jefferson.

You need to go and check your facts.

These words were spoken by Gerald Ford in an address to Congress on August 12, 1974. He reiterated them as part of his closing remarks of the Republican National Convention of 1996, held in San Diego, California.

The full context of the quote (from the convention) is as such:

What is it, in a few words, that all Republicans believe? We believe - along with millions of Democrats and Independents - that
a government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have.

It appears Gerald Ford was quoting jefferson from a letter he wrote.

A Government Big Enough to Give You Everything You Want, is Strong Enough to Take Everything You Have.

Thomas Jefferson
