Benificiary Address on I-129F and I-130

When submitting both petitions, for my wife's address I input the physical address where she is living. However, it is not an address that can have mail delivered (nobody in Kenya receives mail at their house, it is all delivered to PO Boxes).

I've received NOA1's for both petitions and am like most on this board, waiting...waiting...waiting.

Will we have a chance to provide a mailing address in order to receive the packet from the Consulate? Have I made a huge error in the filing of these petitions that should be corrected?

If I've made an error, do I call and provide a PO Box #?

Thank you to the VJ community; I'm glad to have found it and be a part of it.

Cheers

Billy

The address block is where one puts the mailing address. If you are concerned that mail will not be delivered from the consulate to your spouse, then you should call the NCSC 800 number to imform them of an address change.

From USCIS....

17. The address block on the forms is the data field captured for all of our mailings. Consistent with the limitations on the number of characters per line (a maximum of 32) and the total numbers of lines (4) in that field, whatever is in the block will become the mailing address used by the system. The data in these fields is entered exactly as indicated on the forms. Please include internal routing symbols in the address block, especially for large organizations. It is better to abbreviate the name of the organization and have space for the routing codes than to fully spell out the name and have notices sit in the organization's mailroom.
