Anna and I just got back from a 3 day trip to Denali National Park last night. If anyone does said trip and decides to take the shuttle from the main entrance back into the park on their 8 hour adventure... bring an #### cushion. ;)

Now the real reason for this trip was to get us both out of town for a little while so I could ask her something, which I did. She was snapping pictures while we were at the last stop on the Denali shuttle trip. She'd wanted to take a picture of me standing in front of some sort of majestic background, I don't remember, I had a question on my mind and wasn't looking at the surroundings much. I told her "Ohhh! Look at the view right behind you!" and then proceeded down on one knee when she looked away. I got her. ;) She was surprised when she turned around. At first I could see she was wondering what the hell I was doing in the dirt, then her eyes zeroed in on the ring, then me talking, then the ring, then she squealed so loud I think a moose in the far off distance called back. :) And then she said yes.

My journey will be beginning soooon!

Congratulations! Doesn't Alaska law now require you to adopt that moose?

Something like that. Nothing like having a son you can throw on the BBQ when they're misbehaving. :innocent:

And thank you all! Can't wait to vent my frustrations!

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
