AOS & EAD Application

hello everybody,

im confused and i need your help please

i got to the us a few months ago and now i want to apply for EAD but if i wait a month from now i will have enough money to apply for AOS and that will save me $340 .

my questions are:

is it better to apply for AOS instead of EAD beside saving money ?

how long does it take to get EAD if i applied for AOS ?

approximately how long does it take to get the greencard after applying for AOS ?

depends on your timing... EAD application with or without AOS should take approximately the same amount of time, 60-90 days

greencard can be 5-6 mos.. some shorter some longer

EAD takes about 2 - 3 months to get

AoS takes about 4-6 months.

The reason for applying for the two of them at the same time - you save money and you get them both sooner as you apply for them sooner.
