It was funny how he had the insurance agencies by his side in the beginning in the Rose Garden. How quickly his mind changes when he can create a villain and a victim. Course that was before 14.5 million more joined the rest of the uninsured due to Obama's economy these same insurance companies started spending hundreds of millions of dollars to spread mis-information and flat-out lies to protect the status quo.

There, fixed that for you.

Care to substantiate?

The news over here broadcasted the speech and I had goose bumps all over. The critics and political experts over here loved it. I wish we had a candidate like Obama for the upcoming elections. That is actually what my Grandma said the other day. Bless her little heart.

So you're saying you had a tingle going up your leg like Chris Matthews repressed gay love for Obama?

It was nothing compared to the tingle I get when I see your ghey avatar, with the hearts and all.

Tell it to Ana, who is not gay by the way.

I guess I was PWNED if you're playing highschool video games or something like that.

and "YOUR FACE" is the epitome of mature discourse?

No it isn't. I explained that when I posted it. Wow you hold a grudge for a long time. Time to get over it. However, according to a certain someone, it wasn't an immature remark but a racist remark against black people. So, I guess it wasn't immature but racist.

Tsk tsk, Joseph. Accusing LaL of score-keeping while doing the same thing yourself.

There was nothing accusatory in my post. You have a strong tendency of making up things.

Obama is the man!!!

I hope health care passes. I want the public option, however so that my wife and kids are covered. It is extremely inconvenient to visit the emergency room every time we have a problem. I'm so glad immigration officials do not check credit because I owe the county hospital a lot of money. They wreck your credit when you don't have health insurance. Lucky for me, my landlord noticed that I owe only the hospital and a health group.

I was surprised illegal immigrants are going to be covered.

Anyone know if food stamps are a strike against legal immigrants? We spend a lot on food because the local non-profit food pantry is so empty due to the economy.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten the memo yet: They are not.

Really so they'll still have to go to the emergency room. That is just going to continue to overwhelm the emergency room in some states.

Is this the CNN poll which asked 45% democrats and 18% republicans?

"The sample of speech-watchers in this poll was 45 percent Democratic and 18 percent Republican. "

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/...for-obama-plan/

Aww too bad they had no intention of being accurate in their polling.

Here's a poll from the AP

"WASHINGTON – Public disapproval of President Barack Obama's handling of health care has leaped to 52 percent, according to Associated Press-GfK poll that underscores the country's glowering mood as the White House made a renewed pitch for an overhaul.

Just 42 percent approve of the president's work on the high-profile health issue. The survey was released Wednesday before his nationally televised effort to persuade Congress and voters to back his drive to reshape the nation's $2.5 trillion-a-year medical system."

Aww too bad they had no intention of being accurate in their polling.

Actually, the poll was to gauge to impact of the speech. Hence, they polled a sample of people that watched the speech. More Democrats than Republicans watched it - thus the sample. There's really no point in taking the pulse on the impact of the speech from someone that hasn't watched it. It's like trying to take the pulse from a dead person. Good Luck with that.

How do you know they didn't watch it? You're logic is laughable and your justification for the skewed results is also laughable.

Grand. Youw ant to use a poll taken before the President addressed the joint session of Congress to make the point that the address didn't have an impact? You're some piece of work.

The survey of 1,001 adults with cell and landline telephones was conducted from Sept. 3-8. It had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

I hope they are too busy to tackled immigration. There are a lot of hopeless people in the world and as a wealthy nation, we should do more to help them, not punish them just because they were born on the wrong patch of earth.
