...over the supposed generalisations...Which are true....

oxymoron......

I should have used quotes around supposed generalisations, but it isn't an oxymoron. Maybe you should study more.

I know libbies when they have nothing else to say like to attack grammar, like they're back in highschool.

And who REALLY cares though? Honestly...I think there is this entire fantasy, Mr. PeeJay, that people REALLY care. Honestly, If I've gotta bend over and lose a couple bucks in my life time and illegal aliens reap the benefits of it somehow, WHO CARES! There were/are tons of services, paid by tax dollars, that illegal immigrants had access to BEFORE Obama during Bush's administration...so what's the difference now?

So why does your hero Obama have to deceive the American people? Why can't he be straight with the people instead of playing B.S. games with words?

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

Again, I'm not liberal. See that is the best part. You think because I'm attacking your intelligence or your lack there of, I'm liberal. When will you understand it's NOT ABOUT politics? Not everything in the world revolves around politics.

People like myself, just like to come here once and awhile to have a laugh.

I've studied plenty in my life and I'm still doing so here for a Masters degree currently...It's not about that either.

It comes down to thinking before writing, and seeing the spectrum. You pigeonhole yourself into an ideology or pattern of thought, and every time you post you just sound silly. That is what it comes down to. This isn't a serious discussion, it's hilarious to me in fact. While you type seriously and angrily to get your point across, I just sit here laughing.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

It's clear you did not read anything I said, which is a complete shame. I can help with that.

Obama is not my hero. My dad is my hero, actually. I have no American heroes and even if I did, it certainly wouldn't be a politician. I don't know any one well enough that is American to call them that.

If you are seriously asking why a president can't be straight with people then maybe you should lay off the politics for awhile.

Again, I'm not even registered to vote, and to be honest with you, wouldn't have voted for either of the D or R candidates any ways. So, everything I think and say on these matters is actually quote unbiased.

I guess since you have a Canadian Masters Degree and all that that you can be condescending to the rest of us mere American mortals. No...I'm not actually asking you why the president has to deceive the American people. I had that figured out long ago without the benefit of learned sheepskins on the wall. It was a rhetorical question if you didn't catch that. ;)

I don't have a Canadian masters degree...I work and study at a university in the US.

It wasn't a very good rhetorical question, because as you can see, not a single person got that it was rhetorical.

Rhetorical Question...FAIL :)

Relax folks, we are only 9 months into the Obama Presidency, if you are this upset about someone speaking two words to Obama "You Lie", what are you gonna do as we really ratchet things up?

You must admit there is a touch of hypocrisy when.... on one hand, you get offended at a slight outburst during a speech, yet

shrug your shoulders when Palin and daughters are called Prostitute and sluts.

Suddenly the left is interested in Civility.

If you use sweeping generalisations in this way, your accusations will become even more meaningless than usual. Not everyone on the left of you found the interuption upsetting, not everyone on the left of you would call Palin and daughters such derogatory names. Your outrage at hipocrisy is unfounded.

Danno the left on VJ has invented this new copout that I like to call "The Generalisations Copout". Their response to everything is, "You're making generalisations so I don't have to respond, and your responses are meaningless, bla bla bla."

We have another whiner. Excellent.

Actually the whining is over the supposed generalisations. Which are true. I can tell you what all the commies for christ, cleo, hal, etc all believe on probably 99% of issues. So generalisations work for you guys.

Check your broom at the door, please. C4C is anything but homogeneous, except for their contempt for uppity nOObs.

Carry on!

So...you get to speak for everyone else and decide? Isn't that a bit arrogant? Speak for yourself. Maybe you didn't get it. but... ;)

Actually, I believe Charles responded as well with at least some sort of answer to a question he obviously did not find rhetorical :)

Treble don't confuse them with facts, because they don't care about them. Earlier in the thread I stated the objective facts about the thread topic & there was virtually no interest in the truth. Fact is most of the OT regulars come here to fight & spread more manure than you'll find on a cornfield in Nebraska.
