Thread killing moment? Either you think it's ok for people to interupt a major speach or you don't. Either you think it's always wrong, or it's never wrong. One thing it can't be, and that's ok for one side but not for the other. So, VW, which is it? Do you agree that his interuption was in order, in which case dragging up booing from Dems is moot or do you think that he was wrong, in which case dragging up booing Dems supports your claim?

I applaud Joe Willson for saying what so many are thinking. I called his office and told them so. My $$$ contribution is on the way.

Then your thread killing attempt was bogus. You believe that it's ok for those who don't agree with the POTUS to interupt, no matter who they are or what the occaision.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Tell what you're going to send, so I can double it to his opposition.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Obama is too sheltered by his staff. His public events are staged to make it look like everyone agrees with him. There's little balance in his reality. The man is clearly not used to being criticized. For his own good and that of the country, he needs more of it where he can actually hear it.

Your advice Bill, hit deaf ears - or blind eyes. I am guessing Marc lost focus a long, long time ago. All the evidence points that way.

Have some faith. Marc is strong. He can do it!

No, he can't

Bless his cotton socks though.

There is a limit, but I have cohorts who will be doing the same. You can't match us, don't even pretend you could.

You say this as if somehow it's unusual for the POTUS to be sheltered from the public. How niave are you, exactly?

My imaginary money is better than your imaginary money. How childish.

I'm definately not "niave". I'm not naive either.

The guy was criticized from the day he won the election. Heck, even I was criticizing him then.

When he didn't solve the world's problems within the month of taking office, he was made out to be a failure.

No? Then this was another disingenous statement? How cute.

He will be a failure. That's already clear.

I don't know about anyone else but Rep Joe Wilson said.... was exactly what I was thinking.

Sometime telling the Emperor He has no clothes, just can't be said nicely.

The way Obama can claim he's not a liar is by saying the health care plan is not "designed" to cover illegal aliens (aka leeches). He used the D word before. But our current employment system in the USA is not "designed" to employ illegal aliens. But they find a way to skirt the law.

The Democrats refuse to include legal residence requirement in any health care plan.

Once again people can't be honest.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
