Hi everybody,

Actually

I sent my file on august 31st and it reaches at chicago on 2nd september but after that i am keep checking my bank account they didn't cash the check and also i send package with cerified return recipt but i didn't get that gree postcard back.

is anybody think is something wrong i did? why i didn't received gree post card back it is already 7 days that they got my package.

i saw in august filers topic all the people got there check cashed in 7 days why not mine?very nervous please help if somebody have same situation

Go to the USPS website and check there for the delivery confirmation. The card sometimes takes a long time to come back, so my suggestion would be to visit that site and put in your delivery number from your postal receipt!

Relax.

These things take time, and there was a long holiday weekend in there. Wait at least another week before you start geting concerned.

This is NOT a fast process.

Don't panic! Not everybody receives the NOA's or return confirmation within 7 days. I for one, never received my NOA for the I-130 till now. And my I-130 is approved. I received NOA's for I-485/I-765/I-131 after a lapse of 2 weeks. The checks were cashed late too. If your package is accepted, you'll hear good news soon, otherwise the package will be returned with the objection and you can ensure to re-file properly. If you have used Registered USPS mail, you can check the status of your package online. Go to USPS.com and enter your Receipt/Label number and you'll know exactly where your package stands.

i check through the number and in USPS.com i go to track/confirm option and in that i put my number which shows me
