So I thought I'd dedicate a thread to AGT for Marilyn and I (and anybody else, really) instead of cluttering up the OT thread.

Did you watch it last night, Marilyn? Did you vote?!! I did! I was so excited to be able to do that. :lol::blush:

I had tears in my eyes when Barbara Padilla sang. :luv: I loved her and Lawrence Beamen. I'm not crazy about any of the other acts on last night's show. Looking forward to this evening!

I think you have to use the batphone - do you have one?

Nope, sorry. I was hoping they had internet voting as I can wreak havoc on those :devil:

No, he'll be on tonight. And he wasn't a pig farmer. He was a chicken catcher. :lol: An unemployed chicken catcher, if I recall correctly.

Yes, nbc.com. They also have a toll free # or texting.

Anyway, I will be watching tonight to see the chicken catcher, or unemployed chicken catcher. I am kind of interested as I didn't get 'it'. They were gushing over him and I didn't think he was that good.

I TOTALLY agree with you. I didn't find him any better than any other guitar-playing singer you hear around the campfire. All I could think was that maybe it goes over better live? :unsure: No matter. I'm reasonably sure he won't win.

I loveee this show. I really like Barbara. She really is a talent!! An amazing one!

Yay! Another Barbara lover! :dance:

what you guys don't get the chicken catcher's appeal..??

yeah he doesn't have the greatest singing voice but he sings from his heart.. you can't help but feel touched when he sings..

now as for Babara Padilla.. yeah she sings good but I don't feel the same connection with her as I do with the chicken catcher guy..

I didn't connect with either of them. I like Barb's singing - but no connection. I didn't connect with chicken guy - so - well that's why.
