CALLING USCIS -ADVISABLE OR NOT?

hi po....thanks to all those who replied esp. the sound advise u gave ( happyme, ~happyndinlove~, MikenKyhen, abbielovesjeremy, tallcoolone, otto and karen) (i salute marriedtomrg for her patience to write back and forth just to calm me down.. ..im cool.. what a caring person she is)

i think im ok and tryin to chill out here... im not going to call them ""yet""...as the need arises, that is...as i have posted earlier on, i can still wait..besides those who filed first deserve to get the approval first..first to come, first to go to be fair to all...i was ""just curious"" if calling them can speed up the case..thats all..i didnt say we will fon them ryt away without waiting the timeline for adjudication ..btw, here in VJ, it pays to write and ask if ur uncertain about the visa process because today i learned something from this post which m grateful that i decided to put my curiosity into writing that based from all ur responses - calling doesnt mean i get NOA2 right away...and that patience is a virtue... THANK U ...I am definitely relieved, contented and fine now, in fact finer than a frog's hair... ...

yes sis i will try too bcoz cant see my case status online and its been almost 4months now... and were not yet inquiring about it since my hub sent our packet.... think there's nothing wrong with that...

hiya friend tin...u have same case with sweetgurl wherein they cant see the status of their case at the USCIS website..what they did was--they wrote an email and the office replied...with--take note---NOA2 approval !!!!!!!!!!!..isnt that great?!?! maybe its a way of compensating them for the inconveniences...im so happy for her..hope ur NOA2 is coming soon...good luck sa atin Tin

The number of touches or lack of touches really does not mean anything. Our application was never touched at all. Not once. Almost 6 months of just sitting and waiting and sitting and....

Then on the very morning I was leaving to visit Shir for Christmas, there in my Inbox was NOA2.

This being said, please do call if you want. It might make you feel better but will not change your application time for good or bad.

Good luck on your journey, the reward at the finish is worth every second of waiting.

btw,,ive got no touches since june 28, is that somethin to worry about?? does it mean our I129was thrown in the waste bin and has not been seen/reviewed/checked since then??? hope not!!!

thanks philandshir..that was inspiring and much subtly said...i understand now that calling them doesnt mean ill get the approval soon..we cant tell what the officer there is thinking...might give me a thumbs down, thumbs up or they will just ignore...im certain we arent way beyond the timeline...but fiance said 4 months without NOA2, that will provoke him to call them up...

i know those who did not undergo long enduring,or the so called"torturing" months of waiting their NOA2 will easily say ""come on ..just wait...chill out"" but for someone who's been waiting from 4-5-6-or more months ...wow..thats merely crazy..everyone wants to be with their loved ones the soonest possible time thats why they are doing every means and ways to speed things up to the extend they become so annoying at the USCIS sight...lol...well this is just an opinion...

i am cool at the moment..but anxious,i wont deny that fact....nervous and excited.....i know God will send me the NOA2 soon...just testing how much I trust Him to do that for us...and praying is one special solution for all these mixed emotions i am having now...please share ur kindness to include us in ur daily prayers..thank u

hay naku sis oo binigay nga ni hazel ung e-mail ad eh... bka natabunan na sis ung papers namin hehehehe... pero ok pa namn ako kya alng syempre ung iba meron na ako wla pa :bonk: kainip ka yang mag-intay pagme inaantay ka.. hay sna next week ako namn din mag kanoa2 na hehehe... :whistle: :whistle:
