Required Confirmation on prior Interview Date

Me again! As I have just received Packet 3, it has come to my attention that the checklist didn't mention anything about any Application Fee.

Can you please confirm that there's no application fee to pay on the Day of the Interview?

Nonimmigrant visa application processing fee

Weird they didn't mention it at all in the Packet 3 that I have received. Now that is really STRANGE. Lorelle, I agree with you that I did see it somewhere in the US Consulate Website for Australia under Non-Immigration Visas but no mention of K-1 Visas.

C'on people, shed us some light...please.

Fees apply to ALL non and immigrant visa's, only the amount is different.

if you have a look in the embassey tab and click on australia it states you have to pay $130 at the post office get a copy for yourself an the embassey...here ya go pris

1. processing fee receipt : AU$130 for each applicant. go to any post office , pay the fee, aND obtain one receipt for each applicant, attached to the outside cover of each passport.

I am going through the consulate in Montreal, Canada on a K-1. I don't recall it mentioning fees in packet 3, but in packet 4, it tells us to bring US $100 for the fee to the interview.

Application Fee (also known as the Machine Readable Visa Fee): Original cash register receipt from any Australia Post Office showing payment of the non-refundable visa application fee. No other form of payment is accepted. You must pay this at the Australia Post. No exceptions.

The current application fee is $130 Australian dollars.

From the above yeah you can as it does say 'any'. As long as it is paid prior to the interview and you have the original cash register receipt.

My fiancée and I are going through the U.S. Embassy in Colombia and it mentions that we have to pay $100.00 U.S. Dollars for interview fee at a local bank.

You can always call the embassy or consulate and just cross check so that you have the correct amount when you go..
