Just curious to find out how everyone answers this! What are the 3 most favorite things (can be ANYTHING) that you just love about JA and why:

1) my husband (no explanation needed )

2) the smell of sweet, ripe mango and pineapple blowing on da warm breeze fram di ocean

3) gwaan down to di ocean and sit under the trees while di men ago catch di fish....there is nothing in this world like feeling that breeze against your skin, enjoying a cold beer, watching men scale fish and argue over everything the fishermen brings back from the sea, and watching the children play in the water. It truly is like heaven on earth to me...it's a whole different world. I can sit there the whole day...sometimes hubby and i stay there for hours and just chill...

I gotta go with Mrs. P on the sitting by the ocean feeling the breeze blow against you, drinking a cold beer and watching the kids play, fisherman fish, etc....It is so relaxing and special to sit there with Richard talking about everything in the world or doing absolutely nothing at all but being in his arms.

3. Guiness and Red Bull can be ordered and no funny looks and being asked "Mixed together?" LOL

Just experiencing the culture and everything about it is amazing and somehting I enjoy doing and look forward to each time I visit. Realizing that we as American's take way to much for granted (IMO)

1. Sitting on the beach and watching/listening to the waves come in. it never gets old. my baby never looked at beaches the same after he came to jamaica for the first time

2. pan chicken, esp the one from red hills road, rip to my special one. he died for senseless reasons

3. christmas time here, i LOVE the weather

3. Sitting in yard watching the planes come and go, seeing the lights up in the hills, hearing raggae coming from everywhere, watching my nieces and nephews play and chatter. I will miss that most.

Ackee.. yum.. nothing quite like it anywhere on Earth! That's sweet JG.. OH- I forgot to list 3 of mi own!!

1. The Love of my Life of course..

2. The food.. anything from jerk chicken to curried goat to my favorite festival.. the flavors of each dish always give me nostalgia.. i think back to where i was in JA and what I was doing at the time.. (probably chillin')..

3. The Beautiful, crystal blue, soothing water of the caribbean ocean... and the smell of its sweetness in the air no matter where you are on the island.. It makes me feel carefree and gives me a peace that takes me away from everyday hustle-bustle.. And one more thing- the "laid-backness" of Jamaica's people... so cool, so calm.. and I give them my utmost respect... Jamaica is a whole other world in itself.. and it's where I always long to be..
