Our NOA1 date is May 14. It hasn't been touched since.

I called the USCIS customer service number to inquire if there was a problem, since it appears that some who have NOA1 dates after ours are already receiving their NOA2s. The person I spoke with was polite, but couldn't tell me much other than that we are still within the normal processing times (she indicated that 5 months is what they currently consider normal).

Still nothing for us, too.

I am happy for those June filers who have received their NOA2s already, but I am bewildered by why those of us who filed weeks earlier are still waiting to hear something. Did the guy assigned to our cases go on an extended vacation or something?

Im also in the same boat with you all. Im also shocked as to the other petitions that are being approved, they must of left ours in the mail room. I hope not. Anyway we had our NOA1 on May 11 and nothing since either. They have untill mid. October to finish mine by there rules as I was told on the phone, so untill that time there is no luck getting through to talk to the next level up. So Im just going to wait as patiently as possible. We definately need some encouragement here in the may thread its always so dead. We need to pick up the pace with some approvals here. Good luck to you all still waiting. Always here for a lending ear. (F)

We have an NOA1 date in early May and are still waiting, too. I am both relieved and worried that there are many of us in this situation: relieved to know that it doesn't seem to be something specific to do with our application, but worried that there may be some bigger problem going on.

I have two questions about it that maybe you can help with:

1. Is this something that is normal, or happens regularly? That is, they don't seem to use a first-in-first-out approach to processing cases...why in the world would a bunch of applications that were filed after us be getting processed before a whole group of us?

2. there is supposed to be a new/redesigned USCIS web page in a few weeks (dunno the exact date). Will our cases have better visibility at that point, and allow us to see how many cases are ahead of us? Or will it be the same information, but maybe better organized, that we can get now by poking around in the USCIS system that they already have?

i am liek one of the earlier posters...I am not mad at the June folks who got approved already (good for them!), but why do we have to wait? We want our families together just as much as anyone else. it's not fair.

I am also stuck in this May SNAFU. My NOA1 was May 20, and we have heard nothing. It's particularly frustrating to see the Igor's list June approval bar creep up above May. I've emailed the CSC a week ago, and have heard nothing.
