We initially met on Blossoms. I went to Iligan and she came down from CDO on a bus which was really courageous on her part because she gets very car sick riding on buses. It was also my birthday when we first met and I immediately fell in love with her. She went back to CDO that afternoon and a few days later we went to CDO and stayed in the Pryce Plaza hotel there. She met us there and we ended up going to Camiguin together and later to Dumaguete. She was so precious and still is. It took me most of my life to find my soulmate and I found her in the Philippines.

yes that's what my fiance told me too... he didnt even know that he will found his soulmate here in phil hehehhe

"I did not fall in love with a "foreign" man as I never pimped myself in the Internet". My husband and I were sweethearts in the Philippines and the relationship started more than 10 years ago before he moved to the USA. Besides, I'll never be attracted to American men!

Girl so are trying to say those people who met their spouse or fiance/fiancee online means they been pimping their selves at the internet ? Lol slow down.....

i totally AGREE with you! in addition to that only UNEDUCATED people would say such things towards other(sic) whom she dont (sic) even know.

You are UNEDUCATED. You can't even write in English properly! You should go back to grammar school.

i noticed you always go for the grammar...hahahahahaha. ano ka ya ibabato ko???hmmm...ay wala kaya grammar na lang...hahahahaha

That's ok sis this thread is not for a grammar contest naman eh, It's about posting if how you met your american husband lol. Just post and post na lang.

Timeline

This question has been asked several times. In general, most of us here met our fiance/husband/wife online. The people wanted to share is the circumstances of how the couple met. It is just cute and "kilig" to know over and over how love grows. So, I will share mine again. Hahahahaha!

It was 4 years ago when I met my husband in a catholic chatroom. We were both in the stage of dealing with the "haters" of work. We started as friends and became lover. It's kinda pathetic to say but we're soulmates, not just because that's how I feel, but the way our mind communicate without saying anything is amazing.

Hmmmmm... I wonder how old you are and your husband because no Filipino guy at my age that will wait for more than 10 years. Besides, in general, most Filipino guys are cheaters and have so much alter ego. Yes, I am talking in behalf of my experience. Di nila matanggap na mas magaling sa kanila ang partner nila, kontrolin mo lang ng konti, sasabihan ka na ng "ayokong under de saya".

I have no race preference when comes to a partner. But definitely, I just wanted someone to love me for who I am and not because what good status I can give or what I can offer. Hahahahaha! Sorry, I am not criticizing mga lalaki sa Pilipinas pero kasi sa panahon ngayon, konti na lang ang di mangagamit.

Okey, isa pa nga.

It was during the war. Union soldiers were raiding the family farm, stealing anything not nailed down. They found me and my younger brother hidden in the cellar. The blue-belly scum had designs on my virtue, but suddenly, there he was. He was a Yankee officer, but he sought to protect my honor. I ran into his arms, and decided right then and there, I would never let him go.

Salbahe ba ako?

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

so this is how my husband and i met.

sweet naman ako di ba?

hello i like to share a little bit of story how i met my fiance? but... i am not good in grammar ^_^ anyway,

i met my fiance in personal... how?

April 2007 in manila Aristocrat Restaurant i am taking a dinner alone... and i saw three men in the next table where i was they talking talking talking & i looking to them... until they looking at me & i am shock so i snob them but then one guy walk going to me & ask me in polite way what is my name & since am little shy & i don't know how to speak well an english that time my english has a limit so i answer him what is my name & he started to ask me a lot about me & he ask if he can join me to my table then i given him a chance to talk me, after conversation, laugh, smiling talk... he invite me to take a vacation in Cebu, and since i never been in Cebu & never been tried to take an airplane i grab his invitation to me. after he got my cell # he started to txt me & he saying trust me & u will enjoy our vacation with my company... when i got home in the evening i started to get doubt of his invitation & excitement... :innocent: because of excitement i didn't sleep till the morning of meeting time in them hotel with their partner going to Cebu... at the first i am irritate because i don't know them but my fiance treat me so nice until i feel so secure when he is around me & he is so gentleman that i never met in my life. after One week with him we never really have a body contact because he stand up for his promises to me that he treat me like a princess & respect me... ... i am thankful to him because he is so kind & gentleman to me so i fall in love to him....and when he's back to his country USA he started to call me, email me,sending a cards, gift & started to support me & my family... after two years of relationship i accept his proposal to me... proposal to be with his only one wife.best friend, and future mother in our children & spent his life time to me... and i am too... (L) (L) (L)

that is my story how i met my fiance & how i felt in love to him... :)

aww i love your story. it's so sweet (L)

and don't worry about your grammar. i know your sweetheart didn't mind. aristocrat huh? is he in the navy? i noticed a lot of them hang out there a lot since it's near the embassy :)

nope my fiance is not a navy.

i like to eat often there at aristocrat restaurant or any branches of aristocrat dinning because they special menu food is so fantastic special chicken grill   my favorite anyway,

before i go there at aristocrat restaurant i was went first to the church Intramuros church, in front of aristocrat so i went there to pray in our lord that i hope i found the right man that would never hurt me & never playing my heart anymore...

and i feel that my fiance is sent to me from heaven :luv: :luv: :luv:

Oy kumain din kami ng fiance ko( now asawa ko na) dyan sa Aristocrat Resto..i agree masarap nga ang food nila dyan. Then after we ate may kinakasal dyan sa intramuros church..biruin nyo bang pumasok at umatend din kami ng kasal kahit di namin kilala yong kinakasal at din rin kami invited :D...wala lang naalala ko lang kasi :D.

Anyways you have a very sweet love story. Never mind your grammar..basta nagmamahalan kayo yan ang importante :)

Please stop the stereo typing and personal attacks. It is always interesting to hear how others met their spouse. Meeting your SO on the Internet or through friends/family or in a bar or on a bus, they are all very valid and it is not where you met that is important it is the fact that the meeting has allowed two people to fall in love.

Please be nice to each other.

I did not fall in love with a "foreign" man as I never pimped myself in the Internet. My husband and I were sweethearts in the Philippines and the relationship started more than 10 years ago before he moved to the USA. Besides, I'll never be attracted to American men!

Oh that is so sweet :whistle: So the relationship continued over the internet obviously for a long period of time, and you used the hi-tech way to communicate with him on a daily basis JUST to keep your man... so, in that sense, you pimped yourself in the internet as well.:lol::lol: .PEACE!!!!!!!!!

Internet pimp here. Met my girl online and quickly fell for her. She rocks.

I'd also be willing to bet my left nut that if i would have met munequita linda in the Philippines, she would have gone on a date with me.
