Just wondered what country is she from?

On a funny note -- What has ones country to do with leaving from an unhappy relationship? :)

Yeah, that makes two of us.I was wondering that too.

Simple! If the country she's from is high fraud and difficult to obtain a tourist visa there's better chance she'd go illegal instead of just returning to her country.

Hello --- don't want to put my business out there but I had the same story.

My bf at the time (1994) filed the the k-1 visa for me. I got the visa, entered the US but never married him, because I found out he did the same for a woman 7 years before me and was planning on helping another woman during the time of our relationship. And we had other issues going on between us as well. So I left him before the visa expired. We never married and I moved to another state without going back to my country. That was a huge mistake on my part. But I couldn't just get married to someone I don't trust just for a GC. So I remained in the US for 14 years ---couldn't get anything (paperwork done), but fell inlove and marry a few years later after (1999). Anyway I couldn't adjust my status in the US so I had to leave. Now I'm married with good intentions 10 years+ and my husband is filing for me. I've been approved both for the I-129F and I-130. Going for my interview soon in October...but who knows what will happen! I'm praying --- so everyone please pray for me.

It's her lost. You can report to the USCIS that the marriage didn't take place. You will not be held responsible. But your fiance will have to leave the US at some point to enter the US legally again. The mistake is on her if she only did a runner and not for relationship problems. Look what's happening to me now...I'm suffering without he man I love. I'm so far away from him and GOD knows what will happen when I go for my IR1 interview!!!

Good luck and don't worry!

Looks like you have a 10 year ban. Your hubby should get a immigration attorney.

She never adjusted status or married... she is not your problem if she did not fill her obligation to the marriage. Listen to these people and report her to ICE. They have thousands of these cases to deal with. If she does not meet the 2 year obligation and adjust status then that's her fail.. she should have done her homework if she wanted to be a fraud.
