do the forms all have to be filled out online?

Hi everyone. I know the DS-160 has to be filled out online and then you would print out the application and confirmation page.

Besides that one form, can the others all be filled in by pen? I printed out the actual papers and did all the other forms by hand.

I ask because I read on another post that the DS-156 and DS-156K had to be completed online and you could not do them in pen.

hmm.. I'm not sure. I did mine online, just so that I knew it was legible. I don't remember if there are instructions for the forms (I am at work right now, but have them at home.. I can check later!).

I think as long as the writing is clear it should be fine.

For montreal i believe the ds-160 replaces both the 156 and 156k. however some ppl have mentioned for packet 4 they needed to fill out the 156. i'd suggest emailing them and finding out.

The current Packet 3s (I received mine last week), still require for all of those forms (the 160, AND the 156 and 156K). I suspect we're in a transition period, but i'm sending them all in just in case, since that's what they've asked for. It's seems a bit silly and redundant, but better safe than sorry.
