I am ready to fill out the I-129F and this website I met my fiancee on is called Latin Cupid. It also has many women here in the USA as members . So would this be considered an IMBRA site as it is not matchmaking but a on line meeting site. I read some old posts but did not get the answer I was looking for.I have seen posters say that they just wrote in MET ON LINE and did not have a problem. Who knows the facts about how Latin Cupid is viewed by USCIS

from what i have been told if u paid money and they matched then yes its considered a IMBRA sit, if its just a dating site u make the choice of who u talk to or match with no it is not.

No, it is not a marriage broker site but simply a dating one. One pays a fee to use the site, but there is no fee to set you up with a spouse. So IMBRA does not apply.

It doesn't matter if they "matched" you, or if you chose who to contact on your own. It doesn't matter if they only arrange meetings, or actually arrange marriages. If they charge a fee, and they are primarily involved in facilitating contact between Americans and foreigners, then they are an International Marriage Broker under the law. Exceptions are if they are a traditional non-profit matchmaking agency of a religious or cultural nature, or if they charge the same fee to every customer, regardless of gender or nationality.

The CupidMedia sites are not usually considered to be IMB's because their basic services are free, and their premium services are the same price for everyone.
