doesn't it say on the visa you got what it is (i.e. single or multiple entry)?

they should have told you all this at the interview.....strange?

about the Tourist Visas ... is there is more than 1 kind ?? B2 is the only tourist visa I know

like is it all for 2 years ?? or maybe there is spacial cases for middle east people ?? Depends on the annotations and details on your tourist visa. If it saya M on the entries part. It means you can come to the US multiple times. Expiry will determine how long the visa is valid. Every entry the immigration pffice will grant up to 6 months maximum length of stay.

i mean like the Tourist Visas generally its a visa for 2 years ( i can use if in the next 2 years) is that right ??

or maybe there is other Tourist Visas ??

and how much i can stay in usa with Tourist Visa ??

if it is 6 month as i know ... can i to go out of usa for like week or 2 and then come back to usa again with da same visa ?? or i will need new visa ?? Yes that's possible. When your 6 months is up, you have to leave the US or you will be overstaying and that could be counted against you.

pleassssssssssse i need this information very soon ... if any one can help

thank you

Hope this helps!

There are two main kinds of tourist visa: single entry and ten year multiple entry. If you get the multiple entry one, you can visit the USA many times within the ten years it is valid, for a maximum of 6 months each time, but the border officer may give you less time.

You can TRY to visit the USA for 6 months, travel abroad for a week and then come back, but you probably won't be allowed in (up to the border officer); the tourist visa is to visit, not live in the USA and thus most border officers interpret that as that you have to be outside of the USA for at least as long as you are inside.

It sounds like the OP is wanting to run a small business while being a tourist. Come buy things , take them home, come back again. Then the right visa is a B1 not a B2.

I can't see where you're getting this assumption from.....

Am I missing something???

And you are still as vague as your original post.

In order for somebody to advise or assist you, you need to be more elaborate.

Have you already applied for a visa?

Have you already gotten a visa?

Why are you even asking whether you can come and go so frequently?

Tourist visa's are issued as a 6 month, 1 year, 2 year, 5 year & 10 years. Regardless of the visa issued to you, the Immigration officer at the point of entry will determine your length of stay, which usually is 6 months or 1 year. If you are given a multiple entry visa, you can make multiple trips, but you must have a very genuine and sound reason for such frequent returns. Secondly, you will only get a 2 or 5 year visa if you have a travelling history and or have made frequent trips to the US before.

My first visa was a 6 month single entry. Then it gradually went up to 1 year multiple, then 2 years multiple and finally I got a 10 year multiple over a period of 18 years.

If you intend to stay in the US for more than 1 month, why would you put 1 month in your visa application?

you said in another thread you'd be going for your cousin's wedding.... do you want to be a visitor for 5-6 months? do you have any ulterior motives....finding a nice girl perhaps?

that sounds so presumptuous i know but i had to ask...

So you asked for a Visa for ONE month because you want to stay FIVE or SIX months??

EDIT : After reading this whole thread, I'm not fully convinced we're getting the whole story here. Anyone else feeling the same?
