Happy Monday MENA! It's been a while since I've been on VJ and MENA forum. And probably will take a while until I'm afficially back. :blush:

I just took a minute from work to wish you all a happy Monday!

10/12/12: Early biometrics walk-in

4/27/13: RFE received

6/17/13: RFE response sent

7/1/13: ROC petition approved

7/5/13: GC received in the mail.

Here it is Monday and I don't have to work so why am I up??? Because the aroma of a skunk that got into my bedroom! Why does this ####### only happen on my days off??? :angry:

Our cookout went great yesterday!There are so many leftovers and my fridge is completely stuffed. There is not even room for a toothpick! My dog was a huge help with the clean up, she made sure she picked up any food that was dropped, isn't she sweet :P

Can't sleep... back to studying I guess. I'm really going to regret this in a few hours... sigh.

Tonight I'm going to pray taraweeh insha'Allah, so I'm excited! I haven't had that many opportunities since Ramadan started because of my school/work schedule. :(

We had to take our dog to the vet Sat (lets just say stomach discomfort) scared me, i didnt want to loose her to. Everything seem fine sent her home with some medicine, ever try to give dogs medicines when she cant have it mixed with foods but shes ok now. Tried to go fishing yesterday, Ahmed did catch his first 2 fish ever, he would say here you do it, i told him no you do it, he finally managed ha at first when he would go to throw the line into the water everyone would stand clear we had no idea where it was going, and baiting the hook, i could tell he just LOVED getting that gunk on his lilly white hands but hes learning :thumbs:

Up way to early to catch the 8 hour bus ride back north as Labor Day weekend is almost over for me and school starts back tomorrow. Only 14 weeks to go.

Everyone who's not working, enjoy your day off!

I went MAJOR grocery shopping yesterday and spend part of yesterday and some of today cooking and trying to get a jump on the week ahead. Its good we had a long weekend too because Amirah is sick and needs the quiet time at home.

I hope its a great day for all :)

Morning Mena! Judy, am happy your doggy is doin better. The first week Kamal was here, I had to take my lab into the vet and it was over $100. I though Kamal was gonna die! I now try to keep as much as I can about costs from him or he has a heart attack!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
