They have actually been really slow lately. Settle in for a 6 - 8 week wait. Then if it comes earlier, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the replies - I was just wondering if the letter had been lost by Royal Mail.. to say I'd be livid would be an understatement.

I think you can call the embassy and find out if your letter has been received

Once they check it they should update their system saying they have checked the Packet 3 and if ok or not

I am not sure but that is at that time the application is said to be qualified or not

No, have the USC call DOS. - they can answer the following questions:

Has the embassy received my petition packet?

Has the embassy sent out packet 3?

Has the embassy received the beneficiary's packet 3 response?

Has the embassy assigned an interview date, and if so, what is it?

Has the embassy printed my visa? (for those in AP)

Oh, and it's free, which is nicer than the extortion line prices. :)

Hi

I had confirmation from the DOS yesterday on the phone that the P3 has been reviewed on the 9th of September and that the Embassy will inform us of the interview date

What that does that mean ?

is there anyone in the same situation ?

has the embassy changed the way it proceeds , seems like there is a further waiting time to only find out about an interview date ?

Anyone knows anything ?
