Affidavit of support documents

Hi guys! Does anyone of you have an idea if the affidavit of support documents is still being requested by NVC? My fiance (petitioner) received 2 letters from NVC (1 for the approval notice and the other one stating that petition will be forwarded to the embasse where beneficiary lives) but both letters did not ask for the affidavit of support documents. What do you think will be the best thing to do? Thanks for the help in advance.

You need to send the I-134 documents to your future wife. She then takes with her to the embassy when she has her interview where the documents will be examined.

My SO is concerned she won't have sufficient "bank account cash" to show on her financial declaration.

I don't really think that's an issue because they are looking primarily at the petitioner's ability to support.

She has more than 20 years in the same job and very high position in the community. I think those things

will be more important for her K-1 visa.

No problem. She doesn't have to provide any financial data. I checked everything myself.

Foreign nationals who apply for visas on their own, however are often required to submit such info.

What she saw was on a Thai website about the co-sponsor for I-134:

She didn't realize that the co-sponsor was for the petitioner, not the beneficiary.

There is NO financial declaration for the beneficiary.

When they were posting in Thai, the words "sponsor" and "petitioner" seemed to have gotten mixed up.
