we sent the short form though we didn't realise there was a difference till i joined this board

i was worried we would get an rfe but we also sent a copy of all the pages of his passport so i think that sufficed for them

i sent a copy of every page of my passport cuz thats what the instructions said to do if that is what ur using for proof of ur citizenship.

so i guess if u get a rfe u can do that or send for the long form of ur birth certificate to have on hand if u do get a rfe on it.

i have seen some strange things go thru in my time here so u might not even have a problem

good luck

to the OP, you should probably apply for your long form from now just in case you get an rfe (God forbid)

that way you will have it ready to send to them if they ask for it
