Folks,

I just received an email from CRIS at 11.30pm (I know they can't be working this late!) that my I-130 petition has been approved. I was completely shocked. Great start to the labor day weekend. I'm proceeding to do the happy dance now. Hopefully everyone that is waiting will get theirs approved pronto!

Cheers

Wow, that's late.

My husband got his through e-mail last week (also a Friday) around 8:30 p.m.

We are going for K3, the e-mail approvals we received were for the I-130 petitions (separate ones for me and our 10-year-old daughter). But none for the I-129F.

We received the e-mail approval for the I-129F on SUNDAY, AUGUST 30th. Same approval date as the I-130s (08-28-2009).

Congratulations!

Thanks everyone. I opted not to go the I-129F route to avoid the confusion. All my research pointed to the fact that they were being approved around the same time so no need to add to the USCIS drama. A big congratulations to all. Now lets go finish em off at the NVC.

Cheers!

I got mine on Friday Sept 4 at around 9:30pm too. Totally unexpected as I just checked the status online at 5pm and there's still no sign of approval at all...but then 9:30pm...email sitting there saying NOA2 has been mailed. SO excited and happy. I was at work taking my break and I can't help but jumping up and down and hugging every one at work. Anyway, best wishes to the rest of your journey!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
