Right when I think it's finally over and things are great and I have my man and we are happy.... October seems to creep up on me. It's the month of Halloween and I am already nervous even though it's September. Like the Gobblins are coming to get us. It's like this one last step to finally being free and not having to worry that someone is going to rip him away from me. I am so in love. I hope they see that and leave us alone once and for all. I wish all of you the best of luck in your removal of conditions. Keep your fingers crossed for us. *hugs*

Why would you be worried? Have you been collecting evidence of your life together? ROC was the easiest part of this process for us. As long as you have enough evidence to show that you have co-mingled your lives together (house, apt lease, finances, tax returns filed together, etc) then there really isn't anything to worry about. Our ROC process was shorter than I expected...6 months. :star:

Maybe worried is the wrong word. Perhaps it's more like I am just ready to get it over with and walk away from the USCIS once and for all. I don't know. We have co mingled our lives so I am sure it will be fine. I am just ready to be through the paperwork and the whole process.

I do understand that sentiment. However this process seems to be the easiest of them all. If you have your proof and fill out the application (along with that lovely fee) it's pretty cut and dried. You'll have to do bio again but other than that, it's merely waiting for ROC to be approved. :star:

Incidentally, the only way you'll truly be done and over with the USCIS is to naturalise. :)
