I'm a single guy in U.S, currently Making more than $19,000 per year. I believe with that level of income, I'm qualify to sponsor my fiancee. But the thing that I worry about is my last two year of Tax return. I didn't have enough, Can anybody tell me that am I able to sponsor my fiancee without any help from other such as Co-Sponsor. Thank you very much this site has been very helpful.

In the wild and wonderful world of HCMC the answer is probably.

There hasn't been too much discussion here on VJ of HCMC CO's rejecting income that meets the requirement. If you're just barely over the mark and the prior year's income was significantly less that may cause a concern.

And HCMC doesn't typically accept co-sponsors for K visas.

My thinking is that you are ok with current year income over $19K.

My 2008 tax income was only $8,825, and my 2007 even less with only $2,260, and keep in my that I was just graduated in 2007. I couldn't make much on my first year out of college. Do You guy think I'm ok NOt to have a co-sponsor?

Hopefully, yes. You probably haven't got much choice. Consulates aren't required to accept co-sponsors with the I-134, and HCM generally does not.

Your circumstances (student, recent grad) make sense with regard to your income history. Again, HCMC doesn't usually accept co-sponsors for the K visas, so you don't have great options.

As long as you can document an income that will be $19K + for 09 it should be ok.

You don't have any timeline info entered yet. Where are you in the process?
