i love the Political Topics... we're all in a cyber community here with immigration being something we share in common. i think it's great to read one another's arguments, insults, and everything...

if someone doesn't feel comfortable reading or debating a certain topic, then it's up to them to either not engage in it...

like me for instance, i don't normally read the deviant sex topics...

Ban politics? No, but it would be nice to see a bit of diversity in the topics - there is a lot of political news out there but according to VJ there are only three topics, Obama the socialist, Health care Socialism and Social environmentalism - well, that and Immigration is wrong, unless it's someone I like!

I voted no. It isn't the political threads that are the problem, people can't seem to debate, agree to disagree in a reasonable adult way, and therefore bring personal grudges into other threads. I see people post with real venom towards others just because they hold a different point of view...that's the sad thing.

but I think certain peeps here just hold grudges and carry them everywhere. Not just in the political threads.

Perhaps as soon as the election is over with, we could get back to more classical debate subjects, like, "Tastes great!...Less filling!...Tastes great!..."
