Can I go fishing out sea with my husband or do I need a permit to go into international waters. I live down in San Diego and I believe they go into Mexican waters...I am not sure if this trip we will be going into Mexican waters since it's an overnight trip..

Be sure you have whatever is required to fish in state waters.. You cant prove that you caught the fish in international waters so if you get stopped you will have to be documented to fish in state waters.. no international papers needed...

well I got the fishing license and the cost of the trip includes the mexican permit if needed but I just want to make sure that I can be safe to come back home.... I mean it's fishing nothing wrong with that

Well you don't have AP yet so hope your boat doesn't break down in Mexicos water and you have to disembark in Mexico.

i think all of the charter companies in san diego should be able to tell you whatever you need to be legal and get it for ya there. My dad used to take us out of SD and i remember always getting a day permit in the office before we boarded.

i came back last nite from my trip it was crazy... anyhow I will post some pix and tell u all about it

So, here is the story, My husband and I went in an overnight trip out of the San Diego Bay like about 30 miles or more I am not sure, anyhow we were relaxing all night long and then in the mornin my husband woke me up around 4:30 am or a little bit later, and that is when it went bad. I got sick, I was dizzy and throwing up, I had been drinking water and powerade and that was was coming out I felt so bad because I wanted to fish so bad and wanted to feel good and make my husband proud.

Anyhow I was there at the back of the boat and I was feeling a little better when they started trolling and then there was a hook up. We started fishing and it was like I just totally forgot that I was feeling sick. . That was the end of my sea sickness.

I ended up catching a Mahi Mahi (dorado) this one I caught it all by myself, a skipjack tuna that my babe handed me and I reeled in and a yellow fin tuna that my babe also handed me. I had hooked up on another yellow fin but he took my bait.... I had a nice time but except for the morning sea sickness.

Anyhow does anyone know any remedies for sickness since we are going out next weekend again I want to have a better time... If i get a chance I will put a picture of all the fish we caught

my hubby takes motion sickness pills... you just have to remember to take them an hour or so before you go out on the water...

try to find the non-drowsy ones..

some people say those motion sickness wrist bands work too..

my friend would get car sick all the time and she started using these and she didn't get car sick anymore..

that is totally what we want to do!!! we are planning on having our honemoon there LOL (eventough we already got married and stuff) and FISHING is definetly a must I have hear that Mahi Mahi is really good catch there. My husband likes freshawater too but I dont think he wants to go to Hawaii to do freshwater
