I'm a little confused with the exact procedure and timeline for getting a Greencard for me and my wife (and an EAD) and the time involved. The main question is, how long will she have to wait untill she can work legally (on an EAD)?

My situation:

I have an H1B and she has an H4; my employer will apply for a GC for me. How long will it take before we can apply for for a GC for her?
