One of my brother-in-law's I-129F petition was delayed at National Visa Center for about a month and I called, the lady who answered the phone said, they're under administration review. Does anyone went through this before or whether their case got denied or issue RFE at this late stage? I would appreciate to hear your case, and thanks.

Administrative review at the NVC likely means their name matched one on a government checklist, so they're having to make sure it's not the same person.

Sabaidee. Sorry to hear about your brother. People can be in AP at NVC for any number of reasons. Usually just by random selection. NVC does issue RFE but at what point after being at NVC do they issue it, I'm not sure. You'd think that if they needed something, they'd request it early on. I don't think that he would be out right denied. You may want to check around the NVC section.

Good luck to your brother.
