ok, so i sent the email for choice of agent today & i have read that you can call the NVC to find out the Invoice Identification Number or IIN (in order to pay the AOS fee), but when my wife called she was told they cannot give that out over the phone so to email instead? should we try calling again? as i've read that people have gotten theirs over the phone...

thank you for your time

we recieved a email on the 19th of August saying:

A packet containing the Affidavit of Support (I-864) Processing Fee Invoice has been sent to the petitioner and We are waiting for the form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) that was

previously sent to the beneficiary.

so we already did the the DS-3032 by email as we read we could do this before the letter came from here emailing Choice of Agent.

Have you called NVC to give them your emails? If not, do this! They'll send all paperwork via email rather than snail mail. Also, request them to send the AOS fee bill by email as soon as possible.

You can no longer receive the IIN by asking the operators. If you've received the DS3032, you should have received the AOS fee bill, which includes the IIN.

Who does the NVC send the DS3032 to, beneficiary or petitionar?

Beneficiary.

Is there a way for petitioner to get the forms? My wife, the beneficary, is in Nepal and it can take several weeks/months to get the mail. I assume other people have come across this issue, especially if their beneficary lives in a country where the mail system is not that reliable. Thank you for any suggestions.
