What service center processes the I130 depends on where the person lives.

I understand that but I see all August filers for example east and west states are being processed by CSC. It seems to me even July and June filers.

Mine was processed by VSC, not CSC. That could just be a coincidence that the timelines are showing - might be because some have filled out their timeline's and others haven't.

Hey bro, this is a website and by no means represents all visa applicants. Not everyone going through this process is a member of this site. My observation, 100% coincidence.

Yes, I understand that, but that doesn't really *mean* anything. As above, VJ only represents 10% of all visa applications. It could just mean that all petitions for August lived in states that the CSC services.

VSC Transfers to CSC : I-130s and I-539s

CSC confirmed that approximately 60,000 Immediate Relative (I-130) petitions were transferred from the VSC. Initial shipments took place at the end of 2008, with the final shipment of 20,000 petitions arriving at the end of January 2009. For the upcoming two months (February and March 2009), all new I-130 petitions will be directed from the USCIS lockbox to the CSC for adjudication. This initial two-month period may be extended.

But that would be outdated. We're in September now, and it does note that petitions sent to the USCIS lockbox would be sent to CSC. I know that when I sent mine, I sent it directly to VSC.
