Hello fellow Vj members,

Just wanna ask if it is normal that you don't see any touches or hear anything from the USCIS.I filed my ROC in July of this year and had my biometrics appointment last Augst 4..since then i did'nt received or hear anything from the USCIS..is this normal?? It's been a month after the bio..don't know what is going on and what's gonna happen?

Should i worry? or just wait for my green card in the mail one day to arrive? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

ROC can be 3 mos to more than a year.... like all USCIS processing... nothing is fast

Yes it is perfectly normal to hear nothing at all and get no touches or emails or anything, for months and months. Some people even get the green card in the mail when online their application still shows as pending! :blink:

We got no touches between biometric and approval... so don't worry.

I-751 process:

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.

It's a pain waiting, I know, but since you filed with Vermont (according to your timeline) I wouldn't expect to hear a single thing from them until December at the earliest. Most of us have not been seeing online updates/touches .... even after approval. Vermont (VSC) is slower with the I-751 than the California (CSC) center is.

Also, your timeline says you have already been approved. You may want to amend that... pretty please. Or you will give other VSC'ers like me a heart attack thinking that you were approved in less than 2 months!

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer
