Just curious if anyone has scheduled their interview in Manila recently .. we had our papers sent from NVC yesterday and I was curious to see what days they are currently scheduling .. I am guessing Mid October ... any info is appreciated :)

I just saw in vj some one got the october 29th in manila. good luck

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Really 2 months out right now? That seems like alot ... maybe they picked that date? If so that makes me sad :(

My girl just set her interview sept 2nd, and her interview is sept 23rd!!

I told her to ask for the asap date, and that is what they gave her:)

Ahh good this is what I was hoping to hear ... I thought Ocotober 29 was way off .. I knew it wasn't too long ago they were around 1 month out ... maybe we will have our interview early October than ...

Another question .. how many days should I wait to call the Embassy to set up the interview ... I was told by NVC today that our documents left the building yesterday .... however I did the DHL tracking thing and I didn't see any packages going to Manila on the 1st or 2nd ... so I am thinking the ship date might actually be today?

I just called now to reschedule our Oct 5 interview to an earlier one. When I asked what the earliest possible date I can get, they told me Sept 9.

I got notified on 7/27 that my wife's interview would be 9/4 (Yes today) and she passed. :dance: I will post another on the interview. After 6.5 months I did not want to change the interview date figuring that it might be another chance to mess things up, I did not want to get greedy, and it all worked out. I did call the USC about a few days after I got the letter to see if I could move the date up and they had not received my packet from the NVC yet so they could not help at that time. That is when I just decided to let it happen as it was planned to be.

I called yesterday at USEM in manila for the schedule of my interview. The available date for october are 1 to 29 except week ends and holidays. Mine is on October 5..

Wait about 4-5 days after they claim to send it,to show up in their system!!Then just have your girl call up everyday after.Its alot cheaper for her to call then you.
