Well yes of course that is true Jamall. But how many female terrorists have you seen?? I think this is why they do such extensive background checks on male beneficiaries. They want to make sure you have no plans for anything other then life with your wife.

Betsy Elsum no you have to know the whole problem is they like to make sure this person is not marry for the sake of the green card . so I think that what behind the AP for more investigation .

of course doesn't make any seance to us but that what they doing . Cairo embassy is big bs

What other investigation do they do besides reveiw emails, chats, phone bills? I have know of embassy speaking with family members, and in one case i know of personally, they spoke to beneficiarys ex-wife. That was the downfall there.

But with Betsy, if this is the case, they will come out shining like a star!!!! :star: Her and her hubby are rock solid and for each other!!!

True and true all the way thru. I say their AP is a name check thing!!!!

No Nowhereman. Our red flags are not as big as yours. I have to assume my husband got hit for his name. There is nothing else it could be.

Good guys :)

Betsy, don't worry as name checks don't take too much time ...

Please don't give false hope - name checks can be very lengthy, depending on how much hits there are and how long it takes to research each of those "hits". Or, some people get lucky, and they can be much shorter.

Good Luck to all who are waiting. Trust in God!!

Beth thanks for the words of support. As for length of time, I was told by an operator at the DOS on Friday that our case was looking like it was wrapping up and should be sent to the embassy soon. I pray this is correct information.

Hey guys just wanted to give you an update. Per NVC and an email from the consulate my husband came out of AP on September 7th. My next question is does anyone have an idea how long they take to issue the visa and mail it out from Cairo? Thanks!!

Ok well most of the MENA members know my hubby had his interview in Cairo on August 13th. He was told he was approved but put into AP. It's been 3 weeks today and when I call the DOS (whcih I do several times a week) I get the same thing.......still in AP, nothing is wrong keep calling back. I have looked around and found some information on AP in Cairo but not much that has been helpeful. Does anyone have any statistics on what current wait times are for AP in Cairo and any tips on what to do to pass the time?? Thanks guys!!

Hey everyone. I feel so down right now. My husband had his appointment at the Jerusalem consulate and i went with him. We thought this was it... but NO. The officer who interviewed my husband asked him for pictures of our wedding.... my husband told him we have a few pictures in our phones that he can look at, and also he told him i have 3 pictures in my wallet. they did NOT inform us in the appointment letter that we needed to have proof of wedding pictures. So he did not get his visa, they gave him a paper saying they need further proof of our relationship, and they said I need to have proof of dominicle in the USA... i guess because i have been in Palestine for 1 yr now ??? what am i supposed to do? does that mean i have to LEAVE Palestine before my husband can get his visa? i am so sad and stressed, i do not want to leave without him. cant i just have proof of bank accounts and mail i get in the USA? can anyone help me and advise me what to do ??? please, any thoughts / tips are greatly needed !!!! i am so sad right now! the only good thing is that once we have the proof and pictures, we send it in automex (sort of like fed x) and that we don't have to go back because its really a hassle crying.gif

!!! HEART BROKEN AND OUT OF HOPE !!!!

btw in the letter they gave us after the interview it said they cant give us the visa at this time under act 221 g.... administrative processing
