Hi ronalyn.

If you have lived in the Philippines all your life, you just need the NBI clearance for Immigration purposes (not Travel Abroad). No need to secure police clearances from every city you have lived.

If you lived in any other country outside of the Philippines for 6 months or more, then you would need to secure a police clearance/certificate from that country.

Yes, you have to. Police Certificate/Clearance is the same though in some countries it is called something else like in Dubai, UAE they call it Good Moral Conduct.

No, you don't have to, only the NBI is required. Police clearance is required if you lived outside of the philippines for at least 6 months, and it's for every country you lived in for at least 6 months, not every city.

hello! thanks for your reply; I really appreciate it!

I already have an NBI clearance and I think my husband already sent it to NVC together the DS-230 and documents needed. Thanks again!
