Hello Fellow VJ,

I just recently lost my job due to the slow economy. I'm currently a full-time college student (unemployed) working toward my bachelor degree in nursing. At the time I filed for a fiancee visa (1-129f) I had a job. So on my G-325 form, I listed myself employed and gave information of my former work place. I also had my parents filed a 1-134 affidavit support because I wasn't making a lot of money either. I thought everything was going to be okay. But I lost my job a few weeks after recieving my NOA1 letter. Will this affect my approval on my NOA2? my case is still pending....I really hope things will be all right. It is hard for me to consider work, now that I'm busy with nursing college.

Please if you have any advice, please share.

At least it is one less stress to worry about.

Thank you very much Sand!

It is such a relief to know that my job loss won't affect my NOA2 as long my parents help co-sponsor. All I can do is just wait for my NOA2 to come through.

Thanks again for the reply and for wishing me good luck, I appreciate it a lot.

Concentrate on the degree and good luck in it and your VJ.

I hope you are closer to the end so there won't be any conflicts with your K-1 obligations to the government and your SO.

With the degree in hand you should be very employable.
