Maryces21-Glad to hear that it is ok on your end now!.. Likewise, it is ok on my end too... Simple...just deleted the size 2 tag...I think that was causing the problem there..as size 2 is too big for smaller screens...(lol..kind of like watching hd tv on a small screen...not good...). I am able to see the new format now after that last formating fix and it looks right on my end too (the original first format before looked squished and was somewhat mis-aligned for me)...

No problem here now for everyone else, I assume?

Hope this new list update/format helps too! .... Much more better organized for all...

Thanks Ant+D+A. Sorry to mess it up, but probably like you guys I see this web site 10 to 20 times a day. Sometimes i think i got addicted to visajourney. And after my citizenship and thinking about make a petition for my mother to come and live with us, because we want to have a baby next year, so she will help us, because I would not be able to stop working. With this economy, my husband is not making enough money, and I do not think we could afford a babysitter.

And yes, use the last updated list, everyone!...

Now that you can see the list, I think you'll be ok doing updates too if you want to, since you've done such well before. (though I don't mind helping)

As for priority date vs. notice date...Your choice there as to which one you want to use, as I don't think 1 day would make much of a difference here for your NOA....(sorry can't help you there..as both of my dates are the same...lol...)

Good luck too, with applying for citizenship for your mother after you get your citizenship. You'll definitely be prepared then, having going through citizenship yourself and finding out more info here on vj too. Good luck too, with having a baby soon, as that will definitely being a lot of joy for you and your family, and it's good that your mom will be able to help with such too when the time comes for such.

I was at home checking my NOa and my letter said $675. Did you send one check or two checks? I do not think it is nothing to worry about it, because wannabe said his letter was exactly like yours.

Maryces21-In answer to your question: I sent in one check/cheque for $675 (application and biometrics fees combined), as it was easier for me to do such. And hence, I expected the reciept to say $675 (which I paid them), instead of $595 only. Regardless, I have proof that I sent in $675, and hope that the don't claim that I owe them money, even though I don't. I had a similar experience with my biometrics for my AOS (about them not getting my biometrics fees) and got an rfe for such , which delayed my case somewhat, and hence, am somewhat more paranoid about such for this case (see my detailed vj timeline for more info about that delay). Hopefully all will go well here though, as like you said, someone else got the same letter as mine with the $595 fee only, and had no problems with that. Though I wonder why yours says $675 and mine didn't...hmm....error with the USCIS? Did you send in one check or two checks? If you sent in two checks, did both checks get cashed in, at the same time or at different times?

I also recieved my NOA with the fee of $595.. ;however, I sent in only one check in the amount of $675. I also thought that was kinda of werid... but u never know. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about and they might just have two ways of doing the NOA.

They've messed up, delayed, are inconsistent, and are clueless about their files and cases (believe me, I think we all know from personal experience here)...

And hence, I wrote on my application cover letter: "I want to end on a good experience with the USCIS, despite having unreasonable delays (and bad service...but didn't want to mention that) before" . Can they fulfill that.....one can only hope and try to be optismistic there....

Let's just hope that this last time around, for the final stage, they do things right.... One final time...Then it's goodbye with the USCIS forever!

LinaJ-Hmmm....looks like I'm not the only one with the $595 NOA....You could be right there in saying that "it's just their way of doing things". Lol...as long as they don't come back and ask us to give them the extra $80 that we already sent them, and cause any further problems/delays because of it, then we should be ok there....

Now I wonder if the biometrics letter itself is the extra "$80 reciept" instead...hmm......

Guys;

I also want to let you know that they retook my fingerprints on 04/09 for I 751. Probably they just cashed the check but because i have a recent fingerprints they will return my money!@!!!!!!!!!!! Iam joking I do not expect any money back but probably they just have to cashed my check and that it is. I will tell you how many fingers they are going to fingerprint. Since they did it wrong the first time. (They did not fingerprint my ten fingers just my index). Then a year later I received a later saying that they did not have my fingerprints on file, my case was denied , and my residents priviliges cancelled. ....blablablablabla. After two weeks calling everyone and going twice to JAcksonville. they fixed and they sent me a new green card.
