Hi Everyone,

Waiting2008-Well, either way, your I-751 case got approved...No need to worry about that now. Interesting to know that with the interview it takes longer, as I thought it would be the opposite..I guess not then. Lol...Though in my case, without an interview, it took 10 months (yes, you read that right) for my I-751 to be approved (see my detailed VJ timeline for more info)....So if I were picked for an interview, it would have been faster than me, as I "waited longer than average" anyways...Oh well, no worries for me about that either...Now onward to the N-400. And likewise, compling paperwork for the I-751 helped me for the N-400 too (lol..though I may have went overboard here...)

Glad to see that the USCIS people where you are in Raleigh, NC are nice and helpful too. I hope all USCIS workers in other offices can be the same way too (lol..though the workers here in Buffalo, NY are nice and helpful too...but somewhat clueless at times...). Hmm..reminds me that I should visit NC sometime again too, as I have some family there (near the Charlotte area..).

I am not sure that my case will move faster since we just had an interview but if it would that would be great Actually, if you are picked for an interview usually the process takes longer; because I-751 interview will be done almost a year after filing the case with USCIS. If we were not picked for an interview i believe it takes around 6-8 months to get 10 yr GC.

So we have waited longer than average approval time. As for Uscis people. Here in Raleigh NC; they are really nice and helpful.

Got the NOA's in the mail today! I am assuming the date for the NOA1 column is the "priority date" (in which case they issued me a priority date before they cashed my check!!).....

Snj_immigrant-Congrats about getting your NOA recently too! Thanks for updating your info on the list!

Good question..I was wondering if "priority date" was the same as "notice date", in terms of what to put down on the list and what to refer to. Mine was the same for both (09/15/09), so it didn't matter either way which one I used. Was everyone else's the same for both dates too? Hmmm...If given the choice between "priority date" and "notice date"...just choose whatever you think is best.....(though I would personally go with "notice date", as I've been used to using "notice date" for my previous immigration cases, since no priority dates were listed there before...).

Snj_immigrant-For me, I checked it right away, as soon as I got the NOA (dated 09/15/09, I got it on 09/19/09)...

No problems there (lol..though it was slow to load on my dial-up internet computer).

Perhaps they are doing an upgrade on their system now, so if it doesn't work now, keep on trying again later on....

Oh and when you enter your case..Do this: NBC*(followed by the rest of the nine numbers of your case)...

When you fixed the format, the list in my screen looks weird, are we using the same format. Or maybe it is my screen? but it is the same thing at both computers home and work. I already talked to wannabe and he was the one that fixed for me, so I could see it in my screen. When you change the format everything gets out of the lines. It is anyway we can agree in a format that works for everyone?

Maryces21-Sorry that the formating looked odd for you. Likewise, it looked odd for me before I 'fixed' it, as everything gets out of the lines that way too. And hence, I wondered if it was a screen size and/or computer issue...

So I tried fixing it again...And am wondering what works now, since it doesn't work for you again...

So, what exactly is the problem on your end, in terms of the lines? Are the lines too long, too short, or something else?

I can try 'fixing' it again...As soon as I figure out what the problem is...

Anyone else experiencing screen problems with the list too?

Don't worry, we'll find a 'happy medium' somewhere...

Thanks. It is probably that their system is still being updated etc. (they do say that they are going to come out with a brand new website in a few days/weeks......will keep trying....

On all my 3 screens I see Ant's "corrected" version correctly while maryces21's version looks slightly mixed up. Probably has to do with screen resolution settings......

Maryces21-Glad to hear that it is ok on your end now!.. Likewise, it is ok on my end too... Simple...just deleted the size 2 tag...I think that was causing the problem there..as size 2 is too big for smaller screens...(lol..kind of like watching hd tv on a small screen...not good...). I am able to see the new format now after that last formating fix and it looks right on my end too (the original first format before looked squished and was somewhat mis-aligned for me)...

No problem here now for everyone else, I assume?

Hope this new list update/format helps too! .... Much more better organized for all...
