02/14/11 Could see case online

05/04/11 Waiting.......I am pregnant and I wish my Mom could be here when baby is born

05/23/11 Received email. Case approved. Yeahhhhhh

05/26/11 Received NOA 2 in the mail.

06/07/11 NVC received case.

06/08/11 Called to give emails and got IIN.

06/10/11 Sent DS3032 email and paid AOS fee. Received auto response 15 seconds later.

06/14/11 AOS Showed Paid. Sent AOS Package.

06/16/11 NVC Received and accepted DS3032. AOS Package was delivered to NVC.

06/17/11 Paid IV fee.

06/22/11 IV Showed Paid.

06/23/11 Sent DS-230 via Express Mail.

06/24/11 DS 230 was delivered by USPS.

06/28/11 AOS was accepted per AVR.

06/30/11 Received AOS check list. Missing DS-230. (It was sent 06/23/11)

07/07/11 Case Complete per AVR and operator. Waiting for interview date.

Should I expect to get an e-mail notification from USCIS when they send me the NOA, or is the mail the only source? From what I read (about camping out on the mailbox) I figure snail-mail is the only route - but just making sure.....

Waiting2008-Wow...so "quality control" for the I-751 does exist after all (the lawyer that I used for before for the AOS mentioned this to me...said it was only a 10% chance of such...). Sorry that you got the "luck of the draw" there. Did it help your case be approved faster after having such though? Regardless, I'm glad that your I-751 interview went well and that you could have used that extra evidence now for the N-400. Hmmm...since you had such a good interview, I wonder if the USCIS learned something from it...Better service in the future, I hope...

We were told that the system picked us up for quality control. There was no request for any additional evidence. IO officer was really nice and helpfull.

We had a huge stack of additional paperwork ready with us; carried all back home :) i actually used them for N400 anyways. it worked out good.

At the moment i have befriended the mail box like you :) lol

Lol...So yes, expect to "camp out at your mailbox" until you get such. Don't worry though, it shouldn't be long before you get such. My guess, based on your timeline, is that you should get it by this week or so. If they cashed your check/cheque in, I'm pretty sure that an NOA is on the way for you. Once you get your NOA, then you can sign up for e-mail updates on the USCIS website, and can check your case further from there and from your e-mail....If you don't get your NOA, call the mis-information/USCIS customer service line and they should be able to help you further there. I am not sure that my case will move faster since we just had an interview but if it would that would be great :) Actually, if you are picked for an interview usually the process takes longer; because I-751 interview will be done almost a year after filing the case with USCIS. If we were not picked for an interview i believe it takes around 6-8 months to get 10 yr GC.

So we have waited longer than average approval time. As for Uscis people. Here in Raleigh NC; they are really nice and helpful.
