FredEQ574-Congratulations on getting an interview letter and now getting an interview date for Feb 24th! What a great way to start the new year, indeed!

And good luck with your interview coming up in the new year! And yes, do keep us updated about that too. By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what is your local office, as I would like to update the list with such too....Thanks.

Got my Interview letter today! Two more steps!

Citizenship Journey (N-400)

09/4/09.....Sent to Lewisville TX

09/23/09...NOA and Priority Date - N-400 received, checked encashed

09/30/09...NOA for Biometrics Date

10/1/09.....N-400 Application "touched'

10/19/09...Biometrics Completed Date (per notice) - Fingeprints only

10/22/09...NOA for second Biometrics Date - FBI unable to process 10/19 Biometrics

11/12/09...2nd Biometrics Completed Date (per notice) - Fingeprints only

01/20/10...Interview letter received

02/24/10......Interview date

Shredshark-Wow, 2 months is sure a long time to wait! Hope you don't have to wait too much longer for an oath date soon. Who knows, maybe a future infopass appointment will help in your case too (make one as soon as possible!). And yes, if you don't hear from them again, then do contact them again soon. And if you still don't get results, by all means, contact your congressman, and see if they can help speed things up there.

It has been about 2 months and I still haven't heard from USCIS. What could be taking this long?. Should I contact my Congressman?

I was wondering if you had abandoned VJ. From the looks of it, the Boston office is either very backed up or perform very few oath ceremonies. Until you posted your oath date, I was the one with the longest time out. Oh well, at least it will be over soon. Congrats on getting your oath letter.

Ok guys, now it is oficcial. Yesterday I received my Oath letter to go to Pensacola for my Oath Ceremony on Feb 26/ 2010. Finally this will be over.

I am so happy.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I guess I am part of this group since I have my interview (test) on February 26th in garden city, ny. Whats the chance of taking the oath the same day? I heard people have done it.

I had my oath ceremoney yesterday and all is done and dusted. This is the end of the Journey for me, now starting the petition for my mother!!!!!!, GRRRRRRRRRR.

Just the thought of it makes me want to bury my head in the sand.

06/30/11 Received AOS check list. Missing DS-230. (It was sent 06/23/11)

07/07/11 Case Complete per AVR and operator. Waiting for interview date.

08/01/11 Per NVC Operator Interview date 09/28/11

09/26/11 Medical test. Passed!!!!

09/28/11 Interview date @ BGT embassy. Approved!!!!!!!

10/06/11 Visa arrived.

10/19/11 Arrived to USA. POE ORLANDO

11/14/11 Received Green Card

Glad that your oath ceremony went well overall and that you are proud and happy now that you are US Citizen!

Good luck with the rest of your journey as a US Citizen, good luck in petitioning your mother, and good luck in getting your US Passport soon too.

Congrats to everyone especially Maryces21.

I had my oath ceremoney yesterday and all is done and dusted. This is the end of the Journey for me, now starting the petition for my mother!!!!!!, GRRRRRRRRRR.

Just the thought of it makes me want to bury my head in the sand.
