I have been reading over everything, a few posts as well. It says you need a check for every place lived since age 16, but does that include cities or just states, countries. The RMCP is A province based search is it not? Do i need to obtain one from each city i lived in as well?

No, you just need 1 for all of Canada. You can get them at your local police station or the RCMP - it should note that the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) or the national criminal records repository was searched using the applicant's name and date of birth.

Also, if you changed your name when you got married, ensure you have them search both your married name and maiden name.
