I 130 May approvals --Still waiting for NOA 2

Hi Guys,

We got are NOA 1 on May 11th. We have got no touch or any update

I am seeing a lot of people who applied before and after me have got there NOA 2.. :'(

Our NOA1 date was March 17 and we didn't get approved until August 27. Every case is different. It's hard to see people after you get approved, this I know.

i dont know how they work,i read on their site(we process files by date we receive them) sometimes we get premonitions that they may delay us cos we r both muslims:) some times i say our pictures look abominable for the guy investigating the papers so he left it on the shelf.we don't have any criminal records we both work,we r of same age.iam anticipating an approval this month as vj promised.

I don't understand how they work either, don't think any of us do!!!

All you can do is keep positive. VJ's timelines are based on the time lines on here and change depending on approvals and such. My husband and I don't have criminal records and ours took over 5 months. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the time it takes to get approved.

saloni have you tried calling them?

give it a try and see if you can get any info

and check your mail everyday, alot of ppl have gotten their noa2's without any online notice

We're in the same boat coasting along, but must be all for a reason. We have an extra 6 months now to wait, I wish I could say im a hurry like I was when Ahmed was to be released today but now with the possible 6 months added, I guess were not in a hurry, more like worried about petitons being on time frames to have to refile. I will say this I look at the website daily and am very happy to see all the approvals comming through. So I just keep flying to Egypt to see my husband on his breaks and we make due the best we can.

oh that does suck indeed. i saw a lot of June filers (not me yet) getting approved and i wondered about the May folks.
