First, sorry for all the questions! This process, just like the K-1, is making me crazy! I just realized that the checks my husband and I have for our joint account are those kind that don't even have our names on them...meaning I don't want to send one to USCIS this way! I have normal checks for my own checking account, but they are in my maiden name, since I JUST changed my name last week. Is this a problem?? I promise to stop asking crazy questions..I should be sending this off tomorrow and then you won't have to deal with my insanity any more!

I assume you are talking about starter checks. I seriously doubt the USCIS cares about the name on the check, as long as it clears.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

No biggie just write the names and address in where they are supposed to be make sure you put a # at top if there isn't one already make it something large so it won't interfere with your new checks something like 10009

Mailed n-400 : 4-3-14

USCIS Received : 4-4-14

NOA1 Sent : 4-8-14

Biometrics Appt Letter Sent : 4-14-14

Biometrics Appt : 5-5-14
