YEHEY! Got the NVC#

Hi! to all May filers I already got our NVC# thru live operator, she told me the NVC received our case yesterday Sept. 1 I am really happy. But is it true that we need to wait 2 to 4 weeks before we start to send the ds3032? we need to wait the NVC letter. Hope not!

I-130 sent: May 20, 2009

I-130 notice date: May 26, 2009

APPROVED I-130 via email: Aug. 21, 2009

NOA2 hard copy: Aug. 28, 2009

NVC case received: Sept. 1, 2009

NVC case# assigned: Sept. 2,2009

Have the Petitioner call the NVC and confirm their contact info. Be sure to add an e-mail address that way you will get all of the documents via e-mail, it is so much faster.

You shouldn't have to wait more than a week or two at the most.

My wife's NOA2 was dated Aug 10 (case received Aug 18), my son's NOA2 was dated Aug 20 (case received Aug 27)

I gave the NVC my e-mail address on Aug 28. I received (via US Mail) my wife's AOS Fee Bill Aug 31, my son's AOS Fee Bill was recieved via e-mail on Sep 1!

Call them & give the e-mail address, it will save you several days.

Also, they are now asking that the DS-3032 is filled-out, scanned & e-mailed back to them with signatures instead of faxing or just sending an e-mail typed only.

Hi Bob 4 Anna! If I'm going to send the DS3032, I need to paste first the barcode and sign it and scan, am i right? then email it to the NVC. Can I use the bar code instruction here in vj? is it ok?

no just email both one for u and one for so. u dont need to sign it, use the format in the vj and i did the same thing. abby n sheryl

Ok, i will do that. I will send one to my husbands email. Abby in other post here they said that I must wait to generate in NVC if i can already send the ds3032 because if its not yet generated it will be useless. I am glad that you are already with sherly... I hope soon i can be with my husband too.

Abby, I have question to you, I saw the ds230 form in item #9 Marital Status, What will i put in the: Including my present marriage, I have been married _ times.

This is m,y first marriage with my husband... should I put 1 times?

Yes, that's right. I filled out the same form (in preparation). I was previously married to a Filipino, so my answer to that question was 2 times.

I sent the DS3032 today thru email and i got a reply from NVC, what this means? here is the email:

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS AUTOMATED NOTIFICATION

Please be advised that, as of April 4th, 2008, our office revised our

guidelines for communication between the National Visa Center and the

public. We are now required to verify case specific information each

time we receive an inquiry.

According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to

discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when

provided with all of the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth

* Beneficiary's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are the legal representative, and your G-28, Notice of Entry of

Appearance as Attorney or Representative, is not on file at the NVC,

please include a copy of your signed G-28 showing that you are the legal

representative as well as the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth or Beneficiary's name and

date of birth

* Attorney's law firm name

* Attorney's law firm address

* Your full name

If you are corresponding regarding an I-140 petition you must provide

the following information:

* NVC case number or CIS receipt number

* Name of the petitioning company

* Beneficiary's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are the petitioner, principal applicant or legal representative,

please notify the National Visa Center with any changes to your mailing

address, email address or phone numbers.

Please include this required information on all future inquiries

directed to the NVC. If this information has not been submitted with
