We left all our stuff at the hotel, went to the embassy and then checked out once we were done at the embassy.

Some of the area hotels will keep your stuff after you check out, while you go to the embassy.

If I remember correctly there were little cubbys that we had to put our stuff in b4 going upstairs....confiscated my cellphone, keys(electronic starter) digital camera, sons chain for his wallet etc. They put it all in a cubby behoind the security...if your bag isnt so big maybe it could go there also?

when I went for my interview, which was nearly 2 years ago now, the coffee shop on the corner did hold bags for consulate visitors for a fee (I think it was $5). I had a train ticket tho, so I put mine in a locker at the train station.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

Grass, there are lockers at the bus terminal. They cost $ 3.00 for a maximum of 24 hours. You have to get a token from the 'checkroom'. I guess it's the desk near the lockers. There wasn't anybody at the desk when I was there (Sunday, 2:30 PM). I asked information what time they're open. They said everyday until 7:00 PM. :huh:

Anyway, the lockers are about 14 inches wide, about 18-20 inches high and pretty deep... a small luggage can fit in it.
