Waiter--wait, did your I-130 get approved and now they're asking for the I-864 for NVC? Or did you get a RFE from USCIS for proof of bonafide marriage? What does the letter say?

My i130 is not approved... USCIS sent me RFE for bona fide marriage thing.. PLUS uscis wants I864 from me. I am not at NVC stage since my petition is still not approved by uscis.

Send them everything you got. Baby's birth certificate, pictures, phone bills, affidavits, chat logs, etc. Good luck. I can't believe they waited 5 months JUST to issue you a RFE. And that I-864 thing is just bizarre.

Hey Waiter - welcome back. Congratulations to you and your wife. Sucks about the RFE. Like Sachi wrote, send them the Birth Cert, emails, pictures of you and your wife with the baby, your boarding passes from your trips, phone cards, affadavits from friends & family.

Odd about the I-864. You should start a thread and maybe someone else will be able to shed some light on it for you. Or have you tried calling them? Best of luck ... glad to have you back ... :star:
