Finally they cashed my check... Looks like it was deposited yesterday but I saw the scan of it tonight...WOOOT

BUT... USCIS website gives me an error when I try to check the status...

I hope I will be able to see it tomorrow.

BTW, Even tho I live in Florida and should be processed by Vermont SC, my case starts with WAC

Our cheques were cashed yesterday. Yay. Longest 10 days of my life. Thought the airport moment was bad! He doesn't get scans though so we have to wait for hard copy. He is in Florida too so hopefully ours goes to CSC as well.

Remember if you are using the number from the back of the check you need to add 1 to it which will be your actual receipt number. I do not know why USCIS does not print the correct receipt number on the back of the check.

Thanks Abbie... You know I'm just super anxious... I called USCIS and since I filed 2 I-130s i have 2 numbers +1 and +2... but still not in the system. I would say I will check back in a few days, but there is no way. LOL.

Really I will be checking every hour.....

Its still not working even adding the 1.. WAAAAAAAAAAA

I made the same mistake once I got the cashed check... All you need to do is this

Get 13 digits code from back of your check.

- Add 1 to the last digit of the 13 digits

e.g. WAC09876223413 will becomes WAC09876223414

after finally getting all the paperwork we needed in order, we sent the petition last saturday 9/12/2009. It was delivered on Monday 11th, but haven't heard anything since!! Not too worried, but def keen to get verification that it's all good. My wife paid by money order. Not sure if there's anyway to check that it has been cashed?? I'll have to talk to her tomorrow bout it i guess.

I have heard of people sending countless amounts of evidence with their 130. We sent the basics, lease agreement from aus, joint bank account from aus and marriage certificate. Should be enough... Right? =)
