Hmmm, quick question in regards to DS-3032 Choice of Agent.

Do I select the first box and then put my Wife (USC) and address as contact, or;

Choose the second box but put my wife's address in the US?

select the first box and then put your Wife (USC) name and address as contact. Alternatively you can just send them an e-mail choosing your wife as your agent as soon as you learn from the AVR that your DS3032 has been generated. Check the WIKI for NVC for an example of the e-mail content and the format of sending e-mail to NVC. I sent my agent selection via e-mail and it was accepted the next day. As a matter of fact I sent it before the AVR update that the DS3032 has been generated, from experience I know if it has been two weeks since approval chances are that it has been mailed but AVR not updated yet. Either way, it will catch up with each other if you send an e-mail and also a hard copy. You can get all your docs ready now to save time with sending docs back and forth between AUS and USA. If you prefer the e-mail DS3032 you can just send an e-mail to get started no signature required in that case! Alternately print all the forms from online now, fill them, sign them and mailed it to your wife, as soon as approval comes she will just add the dates and send them out. Electronic DS 3032 will save you days in the process.

Ah ok so no need to actually send THE ds-3032, just email once it has been generated... gotcha! cheers

the text message came in late at night, i think it was around 10p.m or something. MsSheka also got a text message at the same time because we both rushed here to give you guys the goodnews. If you go back to the pages where we wrote our approved info the text message came just 5 mins before those posts. But, don't get bugged with this because it can steal your sleep. I strongly believed that you will get some touches and an approval very soon.

For me, I got text around 3:00PM EST, followed by email.

For couple of mins, I did not believe it... Checked text, email and on-line CSC status.

Then, I remember calling my wife 2:30AM their time. :angry:

if u call the NVC today you will get a live person by pressing 1, they are handling HAITI cases today. Meaning that this may slow processing for standard applications because HAITIANS will get priority for now in order to relieve them for the tragic earthquake. I want us all to factor this in our waiting because the USCIS will probably be doing this now. I hope that the lord will relief all those concerned in the Haiti quake. Text YELE to 501501 if u are in U.S to donate $5.00

another question RE: Ds-230 (List places where you have lived since 16. Prior to age 16, I had lived in Singapore and Hong Kong. Since then I have lived in Sydney. So, do I put Sydney, Aus since 02/2001 - present, or since D.O.B 05/1987 - present ????

I don't understand this attitude--what will they do after 5 months--WHY can't they just do it now?

If they can do it then, they can surely do it now. What's so special about five months? It's just a number. So on Day 150 we're gonna get approved. Good lord.

A2U--I'm doing it from DOB just to be safe. But I'm guessing from age 16 is fine because that's the PCCs they are looking for.
