i am strongly hoping for that miracle and I believed in it because i did not even expect to beat MsSheka at the NVC race :no: :no: :no: but I have been preparing for over a year since this is my second application maybe that is what gave me the leverage (i canceled my approved 2008 application in february 2009 due to my incomplete divorce at the time).

@ MsSheka the race ain't over yet, let us race to first touch down in the U.S.A i think it will be fun!

All the best to all of us in our 6,7,8 months journey through US immigration. It is interesting that most Americans do not even know a thing about all this process (#######) it is just a unique "place or punishment" for those of us who are crazy enough to marry a foreign spouse. I think we are paying for our actions for deciding against all the eligible singles in this country, LOL :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I got an email around 11:30am the day after it was approved. ( didnt sign off up for text messages)

To those who received their NOA2s--when did they come in? Early in the day or late at night?

SachinKy, For me I had a touch in the afternoon around 3:00pm (since I login to USCIS like 100 times a day at that time )..and NEXT day at 9:30am I got my approval email on my blackberry. And about 5mins later the online status changed. I never got the text message for some reason. First I got 129F approval email and within 5mins I got the I-130 approval.

9/1/2009: Applied for I-130

9/14/2009: NOA1 for I-130

9/21/2009: NOA1 for I-129F (CSC)

9/25/2009: NOA1 received for I-129F (receipt of mail)

01/08/2010 : Thank you very much Jesus..... NOA 2 129F

01/08/2010 : NOA 2 I-130

01/15/2010 : Embassy gets the approval notice (Awesome..Love K3...so glad we have done K3)

01/20/2010: Embassy schedules interview for K3

02/19/2010: K3 interview over and approved.

Hey David - you will be with your family soon. And I did not forget about you if you go back a few pages.

Mike - I did get the JOY card last night. Went to a different newsagency who did have it. Was very odd, the first one checked his machine and said ... NO, don't have it. I don't think he checked right but no matter. I have it now!! Thank you. That's going to save me about $70 a month on my phone bill.

I am in the process of moving house - have to move next weekend so we're going to not harass NVC for a case # until after then. From what I've been reading NVC can be a bit slow and as funny as it sounds, we are fine with that. It was the NOA2 and not knowing that was doing my head in.

i'm glad you got your phone card! make sure you keep them as evidence too!! I haven't got anything on my bills to say I've called the US... Just used the Joy cards all the time. There is also one called "Hello" or something. If you go to those little asian corner stores, they usually have heaps of different ones for calling overseas.

I just called USCIS and spoke to a very nice woman. She stated that these cases are taking around 5 months to complete. Also that my case has been assigned to an Officer and he should be making a decision within the next 45 days. :crying: But that she would send an email to the officer stating that I called to check the status. (boy what I wouldnt give to have that email address) Hopefully this call will get us a touch and approval. Just crossing our fingers that we will be together by our sons 2nd birthday in August or our 3rd Wedding anniversary in November... :crying:

Hey don't get depressed. We were told the same exact thing both times. They are just saying so as not to get your hopes up. Check online and you will see that you got touched. May be a touch again tomorrow. Within one week you should be aproved. Believe!

that was just my sense of humor, no race of course, no one can race with immigration processing cuz just when u think u r done u may be issued an RFE or somtg totally out of the blues. Hoping for March interview for us and for others who may get approved within the next couple of weeks :dance: :dance: :dance:
